My heart knows what love is. My heart knows that love is not supposed to hurt. My eyes are not supposed to cry nor should my ears hear your lies. My mind does not understand the words you are trying to imply. The pain in my heart can't be relieved, if what you say i don't believe. I give you love, I give you love, I give you love but not sure if the same love I'll receive. Am I scared to be HURT? NO, this time won't be the first. I've been through harder things than losing a girl, I lost my mother who was my world. When I was young my body touched in all the WRONG ways, it cut me deeper than a double edge blade, father filled with drugs and alcohol filled jugs, watching my house burn down, a young girl born with a smile; turned into a frown. Thought the world has been so cold to me front the start, i try to keep a burning flame in my heart, trying to keep my mind clear, keeping my soul free of fear. Sometimes I get enraged, trying to keep me and this cold world on the SAME page. I might sometimes say things that are wrong but its my HEARTS unsung song.
